Women in Logistics & Transport Middle East Award Intership


Women in Logistics and Transport Middle East (WILATME) have arranged an internship for a student with INL
(Integrated National Logistics) in Dubai, the organisation announced 17th Nov 2013
The student, Fatima Hassan, graduated from Herriot-Watt University with a distinction in her MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

"This epitomizes what WILATME is about. We were founded in 2012 and our mission is to encourage women into logistics and inspire and recognize woman in Logistics and Transport throughout the Middle East," said Nadia Abdul Aziz, WILATME Chairperson.

Meanwhile, Hassan expressed her gratitude to WILATME. Through a statement released by the organisation, she said that she was looking forward to working with INL and was excited about her future prospects within the Logistics and Transport Industry.

INL added that it was pleased to support Heriot-Watt University and that it was looking forward to having candidates placed with it at its state-of-the-art 3PL logistics operation in DWC.
Women in Logistics and Transport Middle East are a non-for-profit organisation focused on empowering, supporting, educating, and recognising women in this industry throughout the Middle East.
